paint calipers ?

I am thinking of painting my brake calipers but i cant find the the colour i want

I have found specific paint for brake calipers which resists temperatures up to 482 degrees C, but i have found the colour i want in engine paint which resists temperatures up to 288 degrees C

i was wondering whether i could get away with the 288 degrees C paint as i do only have a 1.2 16V and i doubt my calipers would get very hot
